[ This is it. This is where he dies, isn't it. Weiss is going to kill him and he'll be no more. ]
O-okay I'll be there...
[ He doesn't arrive very quickly though. It takes him a while to work up some nerves to approach her again. She was so angry with him the other night and he just... he's not going to be able to take it if she decides to stop being his friend.
He spots her in front of the building and swallows hard, a light wind blowing around him already as he approaches. ]
[ Needless to say, he was absolutely surprised by this. He was expecting... well he wasn't really sure what he was expecting, but this wasn't high up on his list. His cheeks started changing colors. ]
W-wait wait? What? N-no! I'm the one who should be apologizing, shouldn't I be? I made you upset! A-and instead of calling out to you I just... do what I always do...
[ he frowns at himself and his gaze falls to the ground. But wait. He looked back up at her.]
Does this mean you don't hate me? I-Is it well... sh-should I assume you don't?
[ she's not going to point out that it's kind of funny seeing him cry like this. look at how nice she is! she does, however, take one more step forward to give him a rather stiff hug.
[ He pretty much melts into the hug no matter how stiff it was. Maybe En was right. He needs to... stop being so afraid of the hurt and just open himself up more. Because this right here? It felt nice. It made him happy.
There were a few droplets falling onto Weiss's shoulder, but it wasn't tears from this sappy Battle Lover, no. In fact if she looked up she'd see that it was raining above his head, but it wasn't a sad rain. A bright colorful rainbow was forming above his head as well. ]
[ she's a bit too short to reach the top of his head, but she tries to swat away the rainbow. it's distracting. seeing a she can't, she takes a few steps back angrily, cheeks slightly puffed. ]
Come on, then.
[ that was embarrassing. she's just going to go ahead now and grab a seat by the window. ]
[ He looked a little confused and the rainbow started to fade as he followed behind her. He was just... so happy that he didn't lose a friend he was starting to treasure all over again.]
Hmm... Well if they let us take home some drink, he would probably like some green tea. And as for a snack, he likes things that are mildly sweet so maybe something like cinnamon bread or something?
[ the waiter leaves to prepare their orders. she smiles at atsushi now that they're alone, though... she doesn't really know what to tell him after apologising already. ]
[ He gives her a smile back, but the silence is kind of awkward and uncomfortable. He wasn't really sure what to bring up with her. Asking how her stay back home was would probably upset her and it's rude to be nosy. Asking her how she was doing might be okay, but she might want a break from that kind of talk... aha! ]

H-hey Weiss!

she gives him a polite smile before walking closer to hand him a bouquet of flowers. ]
I figured the flowers have already wilted.

A-ah. W-weiss?

Okay, okay— I'm sorry for suddenly leaving, and I'm sorry I wasn't as nice as I should have been when I saw you the other day.

Does this mean you don't hate me? I-Is it well... sh-should I assume you don't?

[ well, the whole lack of self-confidence is an issue, but it's... not something she wants to reprimand him about right now. ]
no subject
I-I'm... so glad you're back and that you're safe, Weiss. I wanted to tell you that the other night.

iT'S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS!! ]
Sorry for making you worry.

I'm sorry for making you think I didn't care.
no subject
It's okay.
[ for somebody called ice queen, she was a bit sensitive then. she doesn't want it to happen again. ]
Let's go inside for some snacks. It'll be my treat.
no subject
That sounds great, actually.

Come on, then.
[ that was embarrassing. she's just going to go ahead now and grab a seat by the window. ]

Is this a place you regularly go to?

[ they're handed the menus, and weiss looks immediately at the tea section to find something relaxing to drink. and to the waiter, she says: ]
I'll have a mille-feuille and strawberry black tea.

So...

Weiss! Why couldn't the pony sing?
no subject
Why?

for a good few seconds or so.

I'd tell you a chemistry joke, but I know I wouldn't get a reaction.
