[ she bites her lip, unsure. ]

I mean, anybody would, right? And to be honest, you just don't... seem like a fighter to me.

Yeah, I'm kind of the bookworm type, huh.

[schmisse]

Even bookworms can be combatants.

It just. . . [ she waves a hand dismissively, unsure how to say it. he just seems like you can easily bend him in half, that's all. (then again, so is she.) ]

Shouldn't you be eating the chocolates?

[hurricanechef]

o-oh right! S-sorry!

[ He laughed sheepishly and quickly opened the box, setting it down on the coffee table near by. ]

[schmisse]

[ she saunters over to the other side and takes a seat, sitting properly with hands on her knees. she knows the chocolates taste good, but it's worth waiting for his reaction, anyway. ]

[hurricanechef]

[ He takes a few into his hands and pops one of them into his mouth. Of course he savors the chocolate as he eats it, but he couldn't help but eagerly pop another into his mouth. They tasted so... amazing! ]

I think I have found heaven in food form.

[schmisse]

You really think so?!

[ she thinks they're good, but for him to like it is something else. she's over the moon! and... that is shown by how snow suddenly starts falling from the ceiling. it's a slow snowfall, at least! ]

[hurricanechef]

This is so good, Weiss! I can't believe you found something so amazing, I'm over the moon!

[ He noticed the light snowfall and it alarmed him at first, but Weiss looked genuinely happy... maybe her emotions make gentle snow when she's happy? Actually that's kind of cute. ]

[schmisse]

I wouldn't have thought about it if you hadn't mentioned you liked spicy things.

[ more like most of her emotions generate things related to ice... ]

[hurricanechef]

I know it was recently we talked about it, but I'm still touched you remembered, and even more touched you went out of your way to find this.

[schmisse]

It's-- It's all right. It's not like I had anything better to do.

[ ah.......... it's time to put the walls back up. ]

Anyway, I also came here to personally thank you for the chocolates. They are really, really good. [ "are", because she hasn't finished it yet. she's saving them. ]

I'm really glad. I know that at least where I'm from, the girls are supposed to typically hand out chocolates, but I usually ignore that rule. And I know you mentioned something about these holidays not being ones you know much about, so since you're my friend I wanted to make something for you.

[schmisse]

To be honest, it was nerve-wracking breaking the rules like that, but I don't think anybody minds that I gave presents to friends.

[hurricanechef]

I really liked the gift you gave me as well. It was cute, and I have it on my nightstand.

[schmisse]

I'm glad they haven't wilted yet.

[hurricanechef]

I have a nice glass of water for them and I've been feeding them positive energy.

[schmisse]

There really is no end to the use of Dunamis, is there?

Apparently not.

Well, let me know when it does wilt. I can replace them.

I have the money.

[ sort of!! ]

W-Weiss... I couldn't ask you to use your money to replace these lovely flowers.

[schmisse]

You're not asking. I'm gifting them to you.

[hurricanechef]

[ He flushes a tiny bit and instead nudges the chocolates over for her to take one. ]

[schmisse]

Don't mind if I do.

[ she'll take a piece, then! and immediately turns red at the spiciness. she had some milk the last time she tried and now she wasn't prepared-- ]

Can I ask for some water?
