[ Actually, she was already in the area. She would have gone out of her way to buy something for Atsushi though, if he wanted anything.

Knock knock! ]

[ Atsushi was luckily not doing anything exciting when Weiss contacted him. He was mostly just reading a book and relaxing on the couch in the living room. Hearing the knocking, he gets up and makes his way to the door, opening it with a warm smile. ]

Welcome, Weiss.

[ He laughed a little, stepping back to give her space to walk in. He wasn't expecting to see her so soon. ]

I'm glad you're available.

[ She takes a step in and heads for the couch. She's been here a bunch of times that she feels comfortable enough to not wait for Atsushi anymore. :') ]

I have something to tell you!

Whatever it is, it must be pretty good to have you smiling like this.

[ Atsushi follows behind her after shutting the door. ]

I suppose.

[ She waits for him to join her before she continues. ]

We've known each other for an entire year now. Isn't that amazing?

[ he moves to sit down on the couch beside her, a warm expression on his face. ]

I remember it like it were yesterday. I didn't realize you were the one causing ice to form, so out of worry, I gave you my jacket.

It feels like it's been longer, doesn't it?

[ Her expression softens as she flashes him one of the sincerest smiles she can muster. ]

I'm really glad we met, Atsushi.

I'm really glad we met too, Weiss.

[ He melts a little, seeing that smile of hers. It was so... genuine and sweet. ]

That's really all I wanted to say! And I wanted to it in person.

[ She grins, a row of white teeth biting her lower lip in embarrassment. ]

Also, I've done my Christmas shopping, so expect your present in a few days.

[ S-so cute....! Atsushi can't help but smile along with her. ]

And you should be expecting yours soon as well.

[ Speaking of which!! ]

Do you have any Christmas plans?

Mmm? Probably nothing major unless En and Ryuu wanted to do anything. If I had to guess christmas, we'll go to the bathhouse and eat curry.

We could switch it up, and invite someone new to join us, if she'll have us.

[ She looks pretty unhappy, but that's only until she laughs at how silly she sounds right now. She's just really happy to have met him that she's super willing to commemorate the day they met. ]

I will happily take this as my friendship anniversary present. It'll be worth it if you enjoy it too.

[ Atsushi laughs softly, giving her this bubbly smile. ]

Just let me know beforehand, and it can't be on Christmas day.
